About Me
Hi, my name is Vũ Gia Bảo. I'm currently a 12th grade student from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. As a high school student who is currently studying basic Computer Science and has special interests in education as well as science, in addition to learning and gaining necessary knowledge and skills for students at school, I have been looking for every opportunity to join in extracurricular activities, from Train the trainers by STEAM for Vietnam to Open classes by Khan Academy Vietnam, with the passion of transforming my knowledge in Computer Science and skills into specific actions and solutions to solve real-life problems related to education and science to serve community.
I've been seeking opportunities to attend higher classes for Computer Science to grasp better knowledge of the field, exploring AI and Machine Learning to implement them in education and science. I can envision myself using Machine Learning to simulate Chemical reactions without a laboratory or using AI to help students and teachers personalize their lessons.
In my free time, I love immersing myself in books, especially Agatha Christie's mysteries (I enjoy untangling puzzles and following Hercule Poirot's twists). I also like learning Spanish, which opens new cultural perspectives, or biking around Hanoi, indulging in the autumn breeze and yellow leaves falling. Music is another world I adore: Debussy lets me hear flowing water and soft winds; Ravel takes me on wild voyages; Adele's 21 tells stories that linger; Arctic Monkeys' Favorite Worst Nightmare energizes me; and Linkin Park's Meteora always feels brilliant. Each note and word helps me see and feel life differently.
Oh, and I love eating, too! I don't know who you are, but try Bun cha in Vietnam for once, it's a must-try.
